Hotel making upgrades so a little loud at times. Overall it was a good hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Rooms got cleaned everyday. amazing views from the room. Pool was closed for 24 hours due to another guest having a heart attack and they needed to clean the pool but it was ok. they had 2 mini frig, sink, dishes, a hot plate with two burners, pots & pans, iron, ironing board, TV, table and chairs inside and on patio. They had a pool, hot tub, sauna, a store. They offer free WIIFI but only in the lobby and you have to give them your computer to put the password in for you. You can also buy daily an internet setup for your room which was very hard to get installed and working correctly. It also didn't want to work every time I tried to get online. They have a computer and printer you can use for a fee also but is like $5/ 25mins. Overall it was a nice place to stay and had friendly staff there. The parking is $18/day which is kind of high so we tried to find street parking which was very hard unless it was metered. I would stay there again for sure. great experience.

The pictures on the hotel web site show a beautiful hotel, it is not. The bathroom door wedged against the toilet stool making it hard to close. Wall paint was chipped, and parking is an extra charge.

We stayed in September 09. The hotel was nice and the location was great. We rented a car, drove around for a while sight seeing then headed to the hotel then walked around for the rest of the evening. The next day the car sat in the garage because we took an all day trip to the Big Island to see (Kilauea) the volcano which was an experience of A Life Time. The bus picked us up in front of the hotel. The third day we took the car back because everything was in walking distance to include returning the car.Our room was on the 29th floor and the view was awesome. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. If you're looking for luxary this is not the place for you but if you're looking for a nice place that's clean and inexpensive, this is the hotel for you. We went to Honolulu to celebrate my 50th birthday. I wanted to see as much as possible so there was little time to sleep heading out the door every morning by 6:00am and returning around 12 midnight. We went on a dinner cruise, a luau and the bus picked us up one block from the hotel. There were other shows we saw that were in walking distance. One block from the flea market that sold everythng you could think of. The strip that comes to life every night was about 2-3 blocks away. The zoo and the aquarium was about a 15 - 20 minute walk. The festival that they have every year was about the same distance. To sum it all up the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great and yes when I return I will be staying at this hotel.
